Franklin Electric (Pty) Ltd is looking for an Operations Manager to enable effective operation management of company resources according to company strategy,support the company’s sales function,service centre and project mamagement,manage the purchasing function as well as data filing,dispatch and play an active role in tender submission team.

- Effective operation management of company resources according to the strategies.
- Forecasting of the products by recognising past trends, Sales opportunities and future projects.
- Delivery of all Sales projects and opportunities that the sales team won.
- Effectively manages team members, including technicians and advisors, to ensure team objectives and sales goals are being carried out.
- Maintenance Management – ensure that the building and equipment is properly maintained.
- Management of customer goods through the service centre.
- Manage of service order system, including invoice logging, and generate service invoices.
- Ensure that projects costs and manged and recorded accurately.
- Ensuring that the quality of the project delivery exceeds the expectations of the customers.
- Timeous delivery (time lines) of the project with accurate recoding of the actual time vs budgeted time of project plans.
- Ensuring that the date for each project is recorded and filed on the server and in a file in the project’s office.
- Responsible for the project data books (both Hard and Soft copies).
- Communications management (reporting and update meetings) in projects both internal and external.
- Ensure server is always up to date.
- Management of the purchasing function to the agreed pricing in the agreed lead times.
- Ensuring that the purchasing department is in line with the Franklin Electric purchasing standards.
- Management of the dispatch function to support the sales and projects team.
- Attending Technical Meetings with the support functions.
- Active role in Tender Submission Team.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in business,business management,marketing,engineering technology or a related field(required).A degree in engineering is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in Pump Industry(required).
Team work experince as a decision maker.
Valid driver’s license(required).
Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft office suite,CRM
