Job Title: HSEQ Manager

Key Purpose
To protect and maintain the Health and Safety of all stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and the general public; and to protect the environment from any significant impacts of our present and planned operations
Key Generic Accountabilities
• Ensure compliance with the highest Safety and Health, and Environment conservation standards
• Ensure compliance with HSE Policy, Processes and Procedures
• Oversee Engen’s HSE management Systems
• Conduct HSE Audits
• Conduct HSE Inspections
• Lead all HSE related Meetings
• Conduct HSE Training
• Manage companywide
Quality Management System
Specific Outcomes
Education & Experience
• A Degree in Health and Safety or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Health Safety and Environment standards and requirements.
• Be able to understand the policy and procedures/regulations of the company and that of the Government.
• Knowledge of Engen policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of HSE policies and Business objectives.
• Knowledge of HSE and operational management
• Knowledge of Environmental issues.
• Knowledge on preventative measures relating to incidents such as LOPC and contamination.
• Knowledge on current Government HSE Regulations.
• Stakeholder management and engagement ( Government, transporters and customers)
• Knowledge on operational management.
• Knowledge on Transport and Distribution modules.
• Proficiency in creation of Process flows and procedures.
