Program delivery and quality assurance
- Set strategy and lead strategy planning and monitoring activities with the program team
- Oversee TNS’s SMME skills development program, including training and mentorship for enterprise owners across Botswana
- Oversee delivery of TNS’s youth program for 500 youth in rural areas of Botswana
- Conduct value chain prioritization in collaboration with Tokafaia donors to identify and develop value-chain specific opportunities for participating SMMEs
Stakeholder engagement and partnerships
- Work with program partners to ensure the program aligns with respective partners’ social strategy objectives (Government of Botswana. Debswana. De Beers and Anglo American)
Financial management
- Manage and plan expenditures to deliver program within program budget
Monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
- Ensure program has a clear theory of change which is outlined in an monitoring and evaluation framework and logframe. and that established program systems and procedures are followed in order to meet those targets

- Incorporate the use of M&E data into program implementation to inform adaptations of the model such that TNS activities are as impactful as possible
- Required Skills and Experience:
- A graduate degree in business, finance or closely related field
- At least five years of post-graduate experience in strategy, management consulting, business education, and/or SME development, with a combination of private sector and not-for-profit experience preferred Program/project management experience with teams of at least five
- Experience in financial management and /or social impact investing desirable
- Strong diplomatic skills to support effective work through project stakeholders, strategic partners and other stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Self-starter, ability to work with substantial autonomy and influence others with minimal supervision
