- Manages relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met while supporting senior colleagues in managing more important client and customer relationships
- Deals with problems arising from execution of transactions and resolves problems and complaints of a moderate level of difficulty
- Responds to clients and stakeholder requests, concerns, complaints.
- Resolves, suggests changes, identifies, analyses and gathers relevant client or stakeholder information
Complaints Resolution
- Deals with escalated, ambiguous and complex complaints.
- Engages other stakeholder to resolve underlying systems, processes and product dynamics.
Administration Management
- Prepares Board packs, takes minutes at departmental meetings and prepares presentations
Risk Management
- Identifies and assesses risks in terms of likelihood, severity and magnitude of impact.
- Contributes to the development of risk management solutions, processes, models and frameworks
- Proactively reduces risk/exposure and minimises losses by monitoring the adherence to risk controls and measures
Project Management
- Delivers own small-scale or medium-scale projects by working within an established program management plan
- On behalf of the General Manager Transmission & Distribution, manages and oversees key projects and initiatives for the department
Budgeting & Costing
- Takes responsibility of delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organization while working within established systems
Improvement & Innovation
- Identifies shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures.
Policy Development & Implementation
- Provides input into the development of procedures for an area within the organization, then monitors the implementation of those procedures.
Safety, Health and Environment
- Ensures that all safety and loss control standards (Safety Health and Environmental) contained in the Corporation’s standards are adhered to.

- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Energy Management or equivalent
- Should be a standing member of a recognized professional engineering body.
- At least 5 years post qualification experience of which 3 years should be in the Utility Sector or related field.
- Should also have experience in providing strategic support duties such as Project Management, Business Analysis & Reporting, Strategy Management and/or Executive Secretarial functions.
