The Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA) is an agency established to implement approved privatisation transactions, advise government on privatisation, commercialisation and restructuring of public enterprises as well as to assist Government in monitoring the performance of public entities. The mandate of the Agency therefore contributes immensely to the public enterprises reform and privatisation programme.

Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer
The incumbent will be required to manage the CEO’s office and provide a range of secretarial and office management services.
PURPOSE OF THE POST
The successful candidate will receive telephone calls and correspondences for the CEO, attend to visitors and advise staff on any meetings with the CEO. He/she will compile and prepare all documents needed by the CEO for his meetings and maintain the CEO’s calendar which shall include arranging social events, lunches, travel and accommodation. As the Personal Assistant to the CEO you will be required to produce documents such as internal memos, reports and correspondences. You will moreover maintain and circulate relevant documents as directed by the CEO. As Personal Assistant to the CEO you will liaise with the General Corporate Counsel and keep track of Board meetings and advise Board Members accordingly. The successful incumbent will be required to draft and distribute meeting minutes after vetting by the CEO and ensure that the CEO’s office is kept clean and in order.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, you will need at least a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a recognised institution or any other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Agency with at least 4 years’ experience as a Secretary to Senior Management. The successful candidate must be computer literate possess strong communication, interpersonal, record keeping, customer care and office management skills.
The above position is offered on a contract basis.
