Job Purpose
The right candidate will provide Board secretarial and legal advisory services, as well as, to develop and oversee the effective implementation of the corporate governance and compliance frameworks of the organisation.

The Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible among other things the following:
- Participating in the development and implementation of the Corporate Strategy.
- Recommending and implementing an appropriate compliance framework for PULA
- Ensuring the Fund complies with all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Recommending a governance framework and policies for adoption by the Board.
- Overseeing all Board related processes, including, ensuring a fully constituted Board, as well as. the existence and effectiveness of all Board Sub-Committees.
- Providing Board Secretarial services.
- Acting as a liaison between PULA and the Regulators.
- Developing and managing an operational budget for the department.
The Person
- The right candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience in a company secretarial role, with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance environment.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry would be an advantage.
