The role requires you to manage and coordinate the company’s policies and resources across the different areas of the business as well as to establish and achieve annual revenue, and profit growth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The CEO is responsible for leading and directing the company management team in implementing the company strategy to optimize revenue, through

• Managing resource requirements to achieve the company’s key objectives
• Determine and promote human capability development programme
• Ensure compliance with company needs for capital investment and improvement projects
• Manage and adhere to compliance with statutory laws and government regulations The position reports to the Board of Directors

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

• Relevant degree or equivalent and a recognized insurance professional qualification (IISA/ACII or equivalent) is a must-have.
• 10 years post qualification experience, with 5 years at senior management level
• Previous experience in the Insurance industry
• Must be strategic in approach, inspirational, assertive, venturesome and forceful
• Must possess an aptitude for change management with an ability to set clear objectives, monitor progress, take corrective action and control performance levels
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
• Ability to maintain social, ethical and organisational norms and firmly adhere to codes of conduct and ethical principles
