1.1 OVERALL PURPOSE
Reporting to the General Manager, based in Letlhakane, the incumbent will be responsible for managing branch activities, Debswana Maintenance contract, Sales, support field Services as well as to expand the business by finding new sources of income and providing professional clientele
- Strategically demonstrate knowledge of Multotec group services and how products and services can add value to the company
- Achieve sales budget by visiting customers and making profitable sales
- Ensure appropriate Administration through update of screen survey and customer database
- Control all company expenses on entertainment budget, handout budget and all branch costs
- Administer customer requests and provide timeous feedback to clients
- Conduct product knowledge assessments
- Provide quality upfront information to TSC
- Ensure presentations are delivered to customer as required, opportunities are supported with point of sale material and quarterly presentation to management of market research and marketing activities
- Administer market feedback by reporting on new customers, projects and market developments
- Provide Sales and field service function by managing Field service teams and promote field service strategy with the emphasis on safety
- Control maintenance of the Hawkeye program and ensure customer information is captured on ARC /Hawkeye as it is received after each visit
- Attendance and participation at exhibitions
- Conduct performance management as per company standard
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance to Debswana Site Roles and Regulations

1.3 EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Metallurgist/ Chemical Engineer) plus Sales/ Marketing qualification
- At least 10 years relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably in a mining environment
- Knowledge of all Multotec group products is crucial
- Valid driver’s Licence a pre-requisite
