JOB PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Brand Manager is to serve as the operational backbone for cultivating and enhancing the bank’s brand image, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Brand Custodian: Manage the visual and verbal identity of the brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Actively uphold and monitor the reputation of the brand, implementing strategies to enhance positive perceptions.
• Marketing Strategy Execution: Under the strategic guidance of the Head of Marketing & Communications, take the lead in executing marketing strategies and objectives. This involves building and enhancing brand engagement, managing marketing communications and optimizing the customer experience through various initiatives such as marketing campaigns (including traditional and digital media advertising) & public relations.
• Event Management: Collaborate with the Head of Marketing & Communications with the strategic planning of events and engagements to strengthen the brand’s presence.
• Market Research: Utilise research findings to inform brand strategies and marketing plans under the strategic direction of the Head of Marketing & Communications and Group Marketing.
• Budget Management: Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications to have a complete oversight of the brand and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration (with a marketing specialty).
• Post-graduate certification in brand marketing, corporate communications, and/or advertising is considered an added advantage.
• Certification in digital and social media, or 2 years of demonstrable experience in social media management will be considered an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in a marketing role, brand role, or in client services at an IMC (Integrated Marketing & Communications) agency.
• Experience leading a team is considered an added advantage.
• Proven experience in marketing strategy development.
• Knowledge and experience of 360° marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
• Experience in managing marketing budgets effectively, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
• Experience working with a regional bank, or financial institution will be considered an added advantage.
