AUDA-NEPAD supports evidence-based, locally driven school feeding initiatives in Botswana, drawing on national experience to strengthen food security and education linkages. The organisation developed the Home Grown School Feeding Handbook with direct input from Botswana’s implementation context, alongside Ghana and Nigeria. Its work in Botswana focuses on policy support, capacity building, and knowledge sharing to scale sustainable, agriculture-linked school meal programmes. This includes collaboration with Botswana’s Ministry of Education and Skills Development and local stakeholders to align interventions with national priorities.
