The Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) is a government-established research institute based in Gaborone, Botswana. It was created through an Act of Parliament to conduct research and development in areas such as information and communication technologies, energy, materials science, and indigenous knowledge systems. BITRI works to translate scientific research into products and services that address Botswana’s national development priorities.
