The Botswana-UPenn Partnership is a collaborative initiative operating in Botswana that links the University of Pennsylvania with local health institutions and the Government of Botswana. Based primarily in Gaborone, the partnership supports clinical care, medical education, and research aimed at addressing HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other public health priorities. It works closely with facilities such as Princess Marina Hospital and the University of Botswana to build local capacity and train healthcare professionals. Through long-term in-country presence, the partnership contributes to sustainable health system strengthening across Botswana.
