ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER – MEAT PROCESSING

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Plant Manager to support the daily operations and management of our fresh meat processing plant. The successful candidate will work closely with the Plant Manager to ensure efficient production, high safety standards, and continuous improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing daily plant operations and workflow
• Support production planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Supervise and support departmental supervisors and staff
• Assist with reporting, problem-solving, and process improvements
• Act as Plant Manager in their absence when required

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary degree in management (minimum requirement)
• At least 5 years’ experience in a management position
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
