Job Purpose
The core role is to manage the back of house and deal with all stock movement including but not limited to receiving and dispatching of stock in the store. Identifying and coordinating stock returns to various parties (including but not limited to suppliers and warehouse). To further provide support and work in tangent with the Store Manager to ensure that the store meets its sales targets and delivers fantastic customer service whilst effectively planning, organizing and controlling all operations of a retail store in accordance with the Company’s standards and procedures
Key Performance Areas
- Manage, control and administer all functions in the store related to the back of house and deal with all stock movement including receiving and dispatching of stock in the store in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Oversee, monitor and control back door procedures including all documentation
- Administration and control of all supplier returns, repairs and damage stock write offs
- Daily submission of all documentation to the Admin Manager, to thereafter be scanned and emailed to head office
- Adherences to daily housekeeping in receiving and storage areas
- Minimize expenses in area of responsibility
- Maximise sales in area of responsibility
- Protect Company’s assets in area of responsibility
- Assisting the Store Manager with the following:
- Managing and controlling all daily store operations to maximise sales turnover
- Assisting the Store Manager with the following
- Daily sales trading is done in accordance with all standard operating procedures
- Daily monitoring of stores sales turnover and budgets
- Monitoring and maintaining correct stock levels to maximise sales turnover
- Monitor and control all stores expenses within allocated budgets
- Controlling, selection and supervision of staff
- Training and development of staff
- Implement, monitor and ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to in all areas of the store
- Ensuring compliance with policy and procedures of Company
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Ensure effective and efficient implementation of advertised sales promotions
- Promoting and advertising goods and services
- Minimize expenses in area of responsibility including but not limited to scheduling of staff
- Maximise sales in area of responsibility
- Protect Company assets in area of responsibility
- Minimize stock loss (Shrinkages & Damages)

- To undertake any other relevant duties requested by Senior Management

Requirements, Education and Experience
BGCSE Certificate
Must have own or reliable transport to work to be able to work shifts;
Minimum of 2 years within a Retail Environment, including a minimum of 1-year supervisor / management experience
