This role reports to the Director – Marketing & Partnerships and is responsible for identification and development of business Opportunities and the profitable management of Projects and Strategic Partnerships, from inception to completion in order to contribute to the achievement of the BIH’s revenue targets

- Develop Commercial Projects’ plans across the Hub to ensure effective systems are introduced to meet identified needs Monitor the implementation of Commercial Projects to ensure that all revenue and cost targets are achieved and that the overall project is accomplished in accordance with agreed timeframes, budget and specifications.
- Ensure the effective implementation of revenue-profit generating Commercial Projects to contribute to the reduction of BIH’s dependency on government funding Identify business requirements and develop project and product specifications that will ensure that these requirements are met.
- Develop and implement any necessary procedures and documentation required to support the commercial mandate. Accountable for project administration across all projects Including, change control, reporting and ensuring all project delivery, governance and performance measures and standards are adhered to.
- Applying Innovative control methods that consistently deliver bottom-line savings. Business Analysis, Investment and Venture Capital experience.
- Conduct post project evaluations to ensure that projects implemented are operating effectively and providing the services required by BIH.
- Maintain an awareness of developments in the commercial field and act as a source of advice and expertise to the Hub.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A recognised Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent Business qualification.
A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
- 8 years Business experience, including a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Commercial Projects Management, and responsibilities for staff, revenue generation and budgets.
