Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Junior SHE Officer at its Feed Mill, Nutri Feeds Botswana in Pilane.

Key responsibilities will include:

 PPE stock control, procurement & insurance

• Manages the legal compliance relating to the occupational health & safety.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards.
• Conduct HIRA’S and Internal audits on safety.
• Ensure full legal compliance to all set safety standards.
• Implementation and systems management, ISO 45001.
• Induct all new employees and visitors to the plant on set safety protocols.
• In consultation with the HR Office, plan and implement all legally required training.
• Assist the Senior SHE Officer to prepare annual safety and training budget, and subsequent monthly budget control.
• Report and advice on critical safety issues and make subsequent appropriate recommendations.
• Execute any other morally reasonable assigned duties to meet the exigencies of service as directed by management.

• Minimum of a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management, SAMTRAC qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a large manufacturing environment with specific experience in a Fed Mill or Mining environment
