**Job Title:** National Sales Manager
**Role Description**
Key Responsibilities
- Draws and Implements Direct Agents/ Representatives sales target achievement plan to support the achievement of the Distribution strategy.
- Drives exceptional sales performance for direct agents/ representatives.
- Ensures acquisition and retention of clients.
- Drives sales product mix.
- Tracks sales activity and overall performance of Direct Agents/ Representatives.
- Develops and ensures adherence to sales processes to measure the quality of the business.
- Monitors new business on boarding queries.
- Manages and submits business sales reports.
- Enhancement of sales advisors image in the market to align to customer needs and customer expectations.
- Engagements with stakeholders to improve relationships.
- Participates in Business conferences and seminars to increase networking opportunities and ensure corporate citizenship within the business environment.
- Oversees relationships with pay-points and other critical stakeholders to facilitate the sales.
- Contributes to budget development and manages the Direct Agents/ Representatives expense budget.
- Ensures adherence to internal and external policies which support the retail distribution sales environment.
- Ensure delivery of operational services in accordance with Service Level Agreements established within the business.
- Ensures adherence to regulation, risk management methods and laid out processes, guidelines and procedures.
- Direct Agents/ Representatives Sales Team performance Management.
- Direct Agents/ Representatives Sales Team Leave Management.
- Oversees vesting and on boarding of new intermediaries.
- Maintains high performance culture.
- Implements business continuity plans for the region to mitigate against unplanned/natural disaster.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Management or related qualification
- Associate Insurance qualification
- 6 years experience in an insurance industry at sales managerial role
- Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Leadership Skills
- Financial literacy
- Sales planning and Coordination
- Manage relationships, both Individual and Corporate
- Implement distribution strategy as well as tactical strategies to influence sales
- Think commercially
