Job Description
To ensure the smooth running of CIT operations (Northern) within the Cash business in Botswana. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing business decisions and operational plans for the cash business.
Job Requirements
Effective management of operations
• To provide training and refresher to employees/customers on CIT procedures;
• Implement customer visits plan;
• Implement customer retention and improved customer initiatives availed;
• Implement customer SLAs accordingly;
• Achieve Cash G4S Way dashboard (required scores);
• Review and provide adequate resources for service provision;
• To implement MSP as Group requirements;
• Provide management information on monthly basis, and;
• Provide training and refresher to CIT SOPs.
Effective management of business development function
• Identify new business opportunities in the sphere of operations, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers, driven by the promotion of integrated security solutions;
• Analyse competitor market and come up with intervention to address performance gaps, and;
• Advice business on new market trends to management.

Effective management of staff within the Division
• Manage departmental organizational structure to archive required results;
• Avail complete job descriptions for the department;
• Conduct biannual appraisals, identify training needs and ensure implementation of such in conjunction with HR department;
• Identify & implement succession plan within the department;
• Assist in development of personal development plans for line staff;
• Motivate, coach & mentor employees;
• To manage employees performance and engagement, and;
• To implement, cascade & uphold G4S policies and procedures to the last employee in the structure.
Effective management of the divisional financial performance
• Execute business financial performance in line with budget;
• Control direct Labour costs against budget;
• Assist in achieving DSO management – positive performance against budget;
• Manage AR over 60 days and ensure clients payment;
• Manage cost saving model availed;
• Prevent claims through regular customer risk assessments, and;
• Achieve existing Revenue Growth targets for the division.
Implementation and integration of the HSSEC strategy and culture within the business unit
• Embed health and safety awareness and responsible behavior across divisional team, through consistent focus on health and safety compliance and discipline;
• Drive health and safety awareness down to technician level through communication, enforcement of guidelines and principles, reporting and training;
• Highlight health and safety examples, both good and bad, to reinforce message and strive to achieve zero harm, and;
• Monitor and reduce the number of health and safety incidents,oversee investigations into incidents and related matters – both to address non-compliance and to reinforce awareness.
