Key Responsibilities
- All basic duties related to the medical department of a busy District Hospital:
- Heads the Anaesthesia department and is responsible for the efficiency of the department. This includes decisive ward rounds, counseling of patients and relatives, ordering investigations, referring patients to other departments or facilities.
- Gives anaesthesia to patients, supervises anaesthesia given by others and advises on the scope safely possible
- Competent in all anaesthetic techniques
- Assists in the management of critical patients
Requirements
- Qualifications: First Grade Specialist in Anesthesiology
- Experience: At least 1-year post qualification.
Salary
E2 (P449, 256 – P467, 436) per annum
