Key Responsibilities

• LINUX system-installation, configuration and administration. Installations and configurations of spam filters, mail scanner, dovecot, file servers, Configuring and Managing Domain Name servers, Mail, Configuring AD, Exchange Server and maintenance of Exchange.
• Working with Matrix Wireless equipment and wireless technologies Servers and Web Servers.
• Managing Exchange servers for e-mail infrastructure for base use and scheduled and supervised back-ups. Connecting point to point, point to multipoint and handling fibre networks.
• Experience with VSAT, leased-lines, ISDN, Windows NT on both LAN/WAN environments and PSTN. In-depth understanding of networking hardware and software including Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches. Installation of Servers.
• Experienced with leased-lines, Wireless, ADSL, PSTN, RAS VOIP, IP PBX and IP Phones.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Applications essential. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years in information technology (IT) industry, preferably in network implementation and administration.
• Experience as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a pre-requisite
