JOB OPPORTUNITY
The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic appliances within a workshop environment. The role also involves routine inspection and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The Technician will support technical operations through effective fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, test, repair, and service electrical and electronic appliances within the workshop environment.
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance.
- Ensure proper handling, care, and safe use of hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and workshop equipment.
- Support overall workshop efficiency by maintaining high housekeeping, safety, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of electrical and electronic appliances.
- Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proactive, safety-conscious, and technically competent.
- Physically fit and able to work effectively in a workshop and plant environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
