Ministry of Lands & Agriculture Department of Animal Production Ramatlabama NAIL & Training Centre Republic of Botswana Job Title: Temporary Field Assistant – A2 (14 positions for 6 months)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the fence around the farm
- Rounding up cows/bulls
- Performs operations such as castration, dehorning, dipping etc.
- Maintenance of livestock (feeding and giving water to animals)
- Cleaning kraals and feeding troughs
- Construct kraals in the farm as directed.
- Undertakes any other duties as required to meet the exigencies of service.
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Primary School Leaving Examination certificate (Std 7)
- Be able to read and write Setswana and English.
- Should be of sober habits, polite and punctual.
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Certified copies of academic certificates, references and Omang.
