Bango Trading (Pty) Ltd is engaged in the construction and general maintenance of bitumen paved roads including new construction and surfacing works with its headquarters in Phakalane. The company urgently requires the services of the following personnel:
WORKSHOP MANAGER
MAIN DUTY:
Ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of all plant, equipment, and mechanical resources essential to road construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all repair works meet the set required standards and specifications.
- Budget: keep track of workshop expenses and ensure adherence to the same.
- Lead and manage the workshop team, ensuring the team is adequately skilled to deliver the optimum results.
- Supervision and coordination: Oversee daily workshop daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during operations, including but not limited to technical, logistical, or interpersonal issues.
- Execute any other morally reasonable assignments to meet the exigencies of service.
Requirements
- Good communication.
- Planning and organizing.
- Excellent technical acumen.
- Problem-solving and analytical.
- Extensive knowledge of computer and maintenance related applications.
- Beng Mechanical Engineering.
- Valid Class B driver’s license.
- Business related qualification shall be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years’ experience as a Workshop Manager with extensive knowledge in the routine repair and maintenance of Asphalt Batching, Drum Mix Plants, Road Surfacing equipment, Asphalt Pavers, Self-Propelled Chip Spreaders, Bitumen Distributor, Slurry Applications Continuous machines, yellow machines such as Rollers, Graders, Excavator, Dump Trucks, TLB’s e.t.c
