Job description
The main purpose of this job is manage IT+ Systems projects for new and existing computer systems as well as to be involved in systems development and design.
- Work with Systems Administration and Development,to deploy software and services;
- Plan and progress work activities within general guidelines, using initiative and judgement
- Diagnose and resolve incidents relative to enterprise level systems;
- Manage on line selling platforms;
- Work independently and alongside third parties as appropriate in the role of Technical Lead to implement and configure new and existing IT technologies;
- Take an active role in projects to develop systems;
- Work with users to determine needs, and to communicate effectively in multiple ways

Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in IT or related subjects with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in business systems and general applications development
- Front-End Technologies such as HTML 5 an CSS2 & 3 and Javascript
- Working knowledge of (a) Server technologies including windows and virtual infrastructures and (b) Web services/APIs (REST AND SOAP), XML and XSLT
- Experience in working with TourPlan reservations system will be an advantage
- Experience in the Travel industry will be a distinct advantage
