1. Main Purpose (Why does the exist)

To support the needs of the business to store quality data in and retrieve quality data so as to promote the business process and inform business decision-making. To gather information about potential customers, competitors, suppliers and economic conditions and report to business, functions, processes and operations To update on market trends impacting business department.

2. Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities -done

⦁ Receives client inquiries primarily via a CRM tool, regarding product functionality or problems: researches with the client to fully diagnose the issue then develop creative solutions and respond within established timelines.
⦁ Obtains, documents, and analyses reporting needs and requirements through collaboration with department leaders
⦁ Translates reporting needs into production reports and dashboards
⦁ Works across functional lines to strive for and ensure consistent data quality
⦁ Conducts continuous review of reports and identifies opportunities for improvements with the aim of minimizing redundant reporting and developing of single source of truth where possible
⦁ Develops and maintains dashboards to visualise data utilizing Power Bl. Spotfire or Tableau
⦁ Automates data preparation and report creation where possible
⦁ Develops ad-hoc reports as necessary
⦁ Provides increased focus on analytics and emphasizes on providing valuable insights to drive improvement opportunities
⦁ Builds understanding of business and operational strategies and identify critical metrics required to support those strategies
⦁ Performs analyses and develops recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities
⦁ Uses Microsoft SQL and/or IBM Cognos Connection, develop and execute reports of business activity, statistics, and other operational data.
⦁ Assist with developing, documenting, and maintaining automated mail merge templates (AIMS Letter Express) specified by business requirements or otherwise requested, including maintenance of exported versions for the user library.

Education, Knowledge and Experience a of Job Holder:
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related discipline from accredited programme
⦁ Minimum of 5 years of work experience with specialisation in Information support
⦁ 3 or more years of experience in working in enterprise
PC/Mac LAN/VPN environments in data analysis and reporting
⦁ Experience in utilizing a CRM system to track and resolve issues
⦁ Demonstrated experience in design, develop and maintain Bl reports, optimizing efficiency in manipulating data and writing complex queries.
⦁ Background in statistics and business/data modelling
⦁ Understanding and knowledge of ISO 27000 series of IT Security standards (more specifically 27002)
⦁ Understanding of BS7799 Standards as applicable to IT Information Security
⦁ A working knowledge of Active Directory/NT Account administration preferred.
⦁ Knowledge on Big Data (Hive. Spark) would be beneficial
⦁ Knowledge of Python and R would be beneficial
⦁ Understanding of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and project management preferred.
⦁ Familiar with Windows OS, basic security and its built-in applications.
⦁ Experience in utilizing a CRM system to track and resolve issues
⦁ Technical knowledge in the following products will be advantageous:
⦁ CyberArk
⦁ Alien Vault
⦁ AlgoSec
⦁ Open DNS
⦁ Working knowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals

⦁ Hands on experience in using different DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MSQL & Access).
⦁ Hands-on experience in Power-BI.Tableau and Spotfire.
