Key Responsibilities

• Answer basic inquiries about products, prices, and promotions.
• Handle customer complaints or refer them to the supervisor.
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Process payments (cash, card, mobile money) and issue receipts and ensure correct change is given.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Promote special offers and upsell products when appropriate.
• Assist with packaging meat and shop products if required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier station.
• Follow company policies on cash handling and customer service.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in the shop.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activities immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum of Form 5 / High School Certificate.
• Prior experience as a cashier or in retail is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of meat products and shop items preferred.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
