Key Responsibilities

• Operate mechanised shotcrete equipment underground
• Ensure correct spray thickness and compliance with engineering specifications
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments
• Maintain equipment and report faults
• Adhere strictly to mine safety and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Trade Test (Millwright preferred)
• Certified Shotcrete/Concrete Spray Operator (advantageous)
• 2-5 years underground shotcrete experience
• Experience in mechanised underground mining environments
• Strong understanding of ground support and geotechnical standards
• Medically fit for underground work
• High safety awareness and compliance discipline
• Strong safety record
• Ability to work in confined underground environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to obtain underground mine health and safety clearance
• Suitably qualified Botswana citizens meeting all the requirements will be given preference
