Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Analyse technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Direct, review, and approve product design and changes in solar system,electrical and mechanical
  • Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, and direct the negotiation of research contracts.
  • Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
  • Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.
  • Direct the engineering of solar systems, mechanical and electrical distribution projects.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate site visits with other staff activities, certifying the site, and proposal writing.

Requirements

  • Preferably Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Registered with ERB.
  • Certificate in Project Management.
  • 8+ years working experience in electrical/mechanical/construction industries.
  • Competencies
  • Demonstrate strength in solar system designing, HVAC and other mechanical systems.
  • Exposed to Executive Management.
  • Experience in EPC+F projects and contract management
  • Experience in design, installation, testing,commissioning and maintenance of server rooms/data centre cooling systems
