Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Analyse technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Direct, review, and approve product design and changes in solar system,electrical and mechanical
- Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, and direct the negotiation of research contracts.
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
- Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.
- Direct the engineering of solar systems, mechanical and electrical distribution projects.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate site visits with other staff activities, certifying the site, and proposal writing.
Requirements
- Preferably Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered with ERB.
- Certificate in Project Management.
- 8+ years working experience in electrical/mechanical/construction industries.
- Competencies
- Demonstrate strength in solar system designing, HVAC and other mechanical systems.
- Exposed to Executive Management.
- Experience in EPC+F projects and contract management
- Experience in design, installation, testing,commissioning and maintenance of server rooms/data centre cooling systems
