Overview of the Role
The purpose of this role is to take full charge of the Communications, Public Relations and Marketing functions at BURS from strategy formulation to implementation
Job Summary
Reporting to the Commissioner General, this contract position will be responsible for, among other things, the following:
- Lead the development and implementation of effective external and internal communications and public relations policies and strategies including customer education.
- Promote the image, services and activities of BURS and to enhance voluntary compliance, deter tax evasion, and promote an understanding of meeting tax obligations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance loyalty.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Master’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related fields.
- At least eight (8) years relevant post Bachelor’s Degree experience in Marketing Management, Public Relations, Communications or related, two (2) of which should have been at level of Manager or equivalent.
