QUALIFICATION: Applicants must have a Degree in Social Sciences or Strategic Management or equivalent. Masters Degree in Strategic Management would be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of eight (8) years experience, two (2) of which should have been served at middle management level. An experience in the field of reforms or performance management is an added advantage.

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To facilitate in the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan, Performance Management Policy and any reform initiatives within the Authority.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

 

  • Facilitates the implementation of the Performance Management System geared towards improving overall performance of the Authority.
  • Guides the Authority in the development of the Strategic Plan and initiatives in order to deliver its mandate.
  • Facilitates the development of Annual Performance Plans and Programmes to assist in the implementation of Organisational strategies.
  • Assist all departments in cascading of the strategy to ensure alignment with the Authority strategies.

 

  • Prepares quarterly reports on progress, impediments and problems experienced through the implementation of reforms initiatives.
  • Provides support for training employees on strategy and performance plans, monitoring and implementation of the performance improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake any other related duties as assigned by management to meet exigencies of the service.
