Chobe District Council is a statutory local government authority established under Botswana’s Local Government Act. It administers the Chobe District in northern Botswana, with its headquarters in Kasane. The Council delivers essential municipal services including waste management, road maintenance, water supply coordination, and local economic development initiatives across villages such as Kasane, Kazungula, and Pandamatenga. As one of Botswana’s 17 district councils, it operates under the oversight of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in Gaborone.
