Key Responsibilities
- Company Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, covering administration, human resources, finance support, procurement and general internal management, ensuring that all operations run efficiently and in line with company policies and applicable laws.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the drilling and geological services market; build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners; support tendering, proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate internal departments and external service providers, suppliers and government agencies to safeguard the efficiency and continuity of company operations.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that operational activities comply with local laws and regulations; prepare periodic operational and management reports.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role covering company operations management and/or business development, preferably in the drilling, mining services, engineering or a related services industry.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of the business environment in Botswana; familiarity with the local drilling and mining services market is an advantage.
