Warehouse Supervisor – Kansai Plascon

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and improves warehouse and distribution practices.
• Manages complete physical stock take at least four times per annum.

• Ensures that the accuracy, integrity and security of stock is maintained always.
• Effective and efficient resolution of clients and suppliers’ day-to-day queries
• Ensure damages are reported and investigated
• Ensures stock losses are minimized
• Develops and improves warehouse and distribution practices.
• Improves performance within the team, constantly reviews work processes and manpower levels to improve efficiency, accuracy and speed.
• Provides an inspiring climate by being innovative, solving problems and by iniating training.
• Document control for ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems.

• Collating and compiling of monthly SHEQ statistics for the Site
• Coordinating monthly SHERQ meetings and all the tasks pertaining to them.
• Facilitating the admin arrangements for internal and external Audits
• Improves performance within the team, constantly reviews work processes and manpower levels to improve efficiency, accuracy and speed.
• Management and adherence to Plascon Botswana policies and procedures

Skill, Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• Strong understanding of a finished material stores environment
• Computer literacy (Ms Word, MS Excel & SAP)
• knowledgeable of a stores environment
• Good networking skills
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Paint knowledge and application skills

• At least 3 years’ experience in the Paint industry

Educational Qualifications

• BGCSE/O’Levels or Certificate in Warehouse, supply chain, logistics & distribution.
