LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

A well established transport and supply chain company that also provides warehouse and supply chain services and storage is looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead their day to day operations and team members. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a trucking company that has a very high regard for health and safety and work alongside a cohesive team.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the main duties are:-

– To effectively lead and manage the logistics department; ensuring efficiency and compliance to legislative requirements
– Coordination of inwards and outwards goods
– Provide strong leadership and support
– Be hands on
– Ensure team members are working in a safe manner at all times

– Allocation of resources and equipment for jobs to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met
– Maintain a clean environment to ensure compliance with accreditations
– Ensure chain of responsibility
– Ensure all processes are completed to the expected standard
– Enforce all company policies and procedures
