Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Information Systems or related filed.
• At least five (5) years post qualification experience within risk/compliance environment. (preferably in a financial institution) business information systems
• Specialized knowledge of enterprise risk management (ERM), industry knowledge of compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of risk management strategies and define risk management policy for own area.
• Determine the impact of current and new legislation rules and regulations on the Bank, its current/new projects and current/new products in liaison with the Risk and Compliance Manager
• Liaise with Internal Audit on risk related issues, as well as non-compliance with internal policies, legislation, rules and regulations.
• Ensure the bank is in full compliance with all banking laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures.

• Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and Back-up management, policies, processes, systems and plans.
• Evaluate exposure to risks in the business environment, assess macro effect of findings on operating processes and company performance.
