Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting or related field. In addition, a professional qualification in Credit Risk Management

• At least five (5) years post qualification experience in credit analysis environment. Experience in a financial institution is an added advantage
• Expert knowledge in credit risk management & collections

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Bank’s credit risk compliance, collections, credit risk MIS and credit risk audit systems are continuously maintained at an efficient and industry acceptable level.
• Sanction loan applications within allocated discretionary limits and as per the Bank’s credit policy guidelines
• Maintain an MI system on the Bank’s credit exposure
• Manage overall credit risk in collaborating with Sales & Treasury

• Develop credit scorecards and manage credit scoring
• Provide advisory services in terms of legal, regulatory and compliance across the various product types
• Provide secretarial services to the Credit Committee
