Audit Seniors (x4) – Mazars Botswana

Position Title: Audit Seniors (4)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handling audit and assurance engagements independently by leading a team of juniors, and reporting directly to the manager or the partner.
• Carrying out audit engagements from planning to execution and reporting, including preparation of audit report and communication of other findings through report to those charged with governance.
• Assisting with business development, drawing in new clients and maintaining active relationships with existing clients.
• Training juniors on the job and in classroom engagements.

Qualification:

• Accounting or Commerce graduate with at least one Audit module.
• ACCA qualified (or have completed the fundamental levels of ACCA).

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years work experience in a mid-tier firm, of which a minimum of 6 months have been in the position of an Audit Senior.
• Experience and use of audit software (experience with ‘Caseware’ is an added advantage).

Person Specification:

• Strong people management skills with a passion for developing others.
• Strong values driven approach.
• Proficient in English.
• Proficient in MS office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
