tVACANCY FOR MALE & FEMALE SPECIAL CONSTABLES @ WOODHALL POLICE STATION & OTSE

The Botswana Police Service advertises (14) post fo both Males & Females special constables.

– Woodhall Police Station: 5 males & 4 females
– Otse: 1 male & 4 females

SALARY SCALE: (22 296.00-26 628.00) per annum.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
– BGSCE or equivalent.
– Minimum of 30 points with at least a C in English Language.
– Aged between 18 and 24 years.
– No criminal record.
– Must be physically and mentally fit.
– Written interview.
– Shuttle run.
– Oral interview.
– Medical examination.

The applicant will be required to perform the following duties:
– Beat patrol to prevent crime.
– Preserves scenes of crime.
– Conduct stop,question & search.
– Receive customers courteously.
– Implement community policing strategies.
– Maintain some police registers,notebooks,occurence book etc.
– To arrest offenders.
