The position reports fo the Business Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Petty Cash, under supervision
• Ensure procurement best practice
• Posting regularly an receipts Into cashbook, as part of the Accounts Receivables
• Perform day-end procedures

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for both receipts and expenditure
• Assist Business Manager In preparation of month – end report
• Assist Business Manager with assigned clerical tasks such as spreadsheet preparation and analysts, letters.

• Assist Business Manager with Debtor management
• Assist in annual external Audits

• Liaise with School Company Secretaries to ensure all records are up to date
• General filing duties
• All specific tasks as assigned by the Business Manager

Require moots

• A Motswana
• A relevant Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification o.g. AAT. Diploma in Accounting or similar would be advantageous

• 2 years’ experience in accounting environment
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounts
• Highly computer literate: Pastel Partner, Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Word and E-mail proficiency are i must
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Attention to detail

Proficient In written and spoken English Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with customer and external contacts

Good organizational skills and deadline consciousness.
