Production Manager – Power Logic SA (Pty) Ltd

Power Logic SA (Pty) Ltd is looking for the ideal candidate with the necessary Industrial Engineering qualification, with a good knowledge of time and motion studies, be a self-starter and capable of managing the following tasks  (amongst others) under the guidance of the Operations Manager at our Botswana branch:

• All aspects of production including planning, scheduling and production output.
• Formulate daily working progress reports.
• Calculate and manage production targets and take corrective action when necessary.
• Line balancing.
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establish standard times.
• Formulate a capacity plan in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
• Managing, hiring and motivating staff

• Following Company procedures
• Ensuring that all events are efficiently and accurately communicated to Head Office.
• Some General Technical skills in managing a start up manufacturing operation.
• Practical Skills and Ability to assist with minor machinery breakdowns.

Requirements:

– An appropriate Tertiary Qualification with adequate computer literacy.

– Experience in the Electrical Manufacturing Industry would be an advantage.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; English is the working language.
