CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TEACHING AT THE RIGHT LEVEL IN KGATLENG-INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Ministry of Basic Education in collaboration with Young love Organization is looking for qualified Education Leaders to implement a remedial education programme ‘Teaching at the Right Level’ to Standard 3, 4, and 5 primary school learners in Kgatleng, South East and Chobe Regions- Teaching at the Right Level is a remedial education program focused on boosting numeracy and literacy levels by grouping students according to their learning levels.

This aims at engaging young leaders with an Educational background to facilitate Teaching at the Right Level program. Education Leaders can expect to receive training on program assessment tools, curriculum and operations.

Interested candidates must:

• Be below 35 years
• Diploma/Degree in Education (all Levels)
• In possession of a valid Omang
• Copies of Educational certificates
• Updated Curriculum vitae

• Have ability to develop strong and cooperative working relationships with learners, teachers local community
• In accordance with the child Protection Policy, a police background check is compulsory.
• Attend a 2 week Training prior to implementation.
• Facilitate high energy I hour curriculum on basic numeracy to standards 3. 4 and 5 learners for 30 days over the next 7 weeks.

LOCATION

This post is based in Kgatieng Region and you will be expected to provide your own accommodation during training and implementation

Documents with detailed information can be collected at Education Centre – Media Centre office No. 4 from 0730 – 1245 and 1345 1630 during the week, from 11 June 2018.

CLOSING DATE AND SUBMISSION

Completed documents can be returned to the some office by 29 June 2018 in person.
