Tasks
• Polishes and/or brutes diamonds, ensures that they meet individual targets and contribute overall to the section production target.
• Informs section Department Manager whenever corrective actions of a quality and/or productivity nature arise.
• Ensures Key areas are accurate tang levelling, bruting/coning machine calibration, angle control, elimination or reduction of naturals, polishing to correct proportions, symmetry, facet smoothing, centering and roundness.

Experience
• At least 4 – 5 years’ experience in the diamond cutting & polishing industry with expertise in EX, VG and G makes

• Good working knowledge of basic polishing tools.
• Basic spoken English and basic English writing ability.
• Understand the principals of basic quality control.
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork
• Integrity
