Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will responsible for ensuring that appropriate standard! over the wider spectrum of Tourism Establishments are implemented in accordance with Botswana Bureau of Standards – Hotels & related establishments and resourcing the Organisation’s Business Development. Projects Administration and Quality Services functions with the necessary professional knowledge and experience in tourism projects assessment on environmental standards and compliance

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Assist Executive Management Team in formulation review and implementation of the Organisational Strategy
- Develop and implement Quality Services policies and procedures
- Oversee the development and implementation of grading and eco-certification monitoring and surveillance assessment systems
- Oversee the development of safety, health and environmental guidelines (internal and external)
- Provide professional guidance and direction to the Organisation on the quality control during development of projects and products for compliance with quality standards and control requirements
- Manage the development and implementation of customer service modules and guidelines for tourism operators
- Manage the development of certified courses for Quality Assurance
- Terms of employment arc negotiable
- Oversee the development of Grading Standards for other sectors
- Development of grading and eco-ecrtffication promotional materials
- Oversee the development of Code of Environmental Practice and/or guidelines/ethics for the various sectors of the tourism industry
- Develop and cascade annual departmental objectives and strategic plans
- Establish performance targets and monitor delivery against the targets for the Department
- Develop evaluate, implement and monitor the annual budget for the Quality Services department
- Bold, support and manage competent human capital and cross-functional team from the Quality Services function for delivery and continuity, including Independent Grading Assessors
