SENIOR ATTORNEY

A Bachelor’s Degree in Law and preferably a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law

8 + post qualification experience. The appplicant must have extentive corporate commercial knowledge and experience in syndicated loan transactions, project finance, debt and equity markets, ISDA and hedging transactions, securitizations, mergers and acquisitions and insolvency

• Critical, analytic and methodological capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial corporate law
• Knowledge in Botswana Companies law, Securities Act and BSE Listing Requirements
• Drafting of Project Finance Documents and Note Programme Memorandum
• Experience in dealing with company liqiudations and creditors meetings
• Able to liaise with the Botswana Stock Exchange, CIPA, NBFIRA and other regulators
• Computer literacy and competency in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Performance driven and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to manage and delegate
• Ability to train and teach junior attorneys
• A team player
