MAIN PURPOSE
To deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring that all Finance and systems administration is compiled in accordance to the standards set for risk compliance

KEY OUTCOMES
Demonstrate customer service (Customer)

•Greets, Smiles and acknowledges the customers
•Engage with internal and external customers in a professional manner and respond to all switchboard calls promptly
•Deals with complaints, requests, and queries quickly and efficiently

Effectively processes till transactions (Cross Selling & Service)

•Performs till point authorisations speedily and efficiently where required

•Ensure service delivery where required while performing authorisations

Accurate Completion of finance administration (Cross Selling & Service)

•Accurately manages cash activities (ordering, receiving and issuing of cash)
•Accurately manages cash movements as per company policies and procedures
•Controls high risk keys e.g. store keys, drop safe keys and medium risk keys
•Receives and issues floats as per company policies and guidelines
•Issues, receives and orders controlled stationary
•Reconciles Centre vouchers
•Issues petty cash/payments and receipts as per company policies and guidelines
•Conducts random till spot checks

•Investigates and resolves all float discrepancies
•Compile cashier daily cash analysis and banking
•Control change float and cashier floats
•Scrutinises, reconciles and retains reports daily
•Prints and files all weekly reports as per company policies and guidelines

Accurate Stock reporting (Availability)

•Processes all expenses
•Run daily reports on exceptions

Maintain all Systems, Methods & Procedures (Availability)

•Ensure timeous transmission of cash analysis and gift cards
•Print cashier summary to compare and acknowledge transmission of data to the server
•Perform end of day (retailsoft) daily to close/open store
•Print price change reports daily during start of day
•Till discrepancy control management and records
•Update daily, weekly, monthly and accumulative figures for daily delivery in let’s talk planning

Minimising shrinkage (Knowledge)

•Reporting acts of dishonesty related to shrinkage and fraud to your line manager or shrinkage hotline
•Understand an apply all red flag processes and policies and procedures

•Able to spot irregularities that might cause shrinkage both internal and external

Demonstrates personal leadership (Leadership)

•Demonstrates self-discipline with regards to attendance, dress code, hygiene and timekeeping
•Attends/is informed of the game plan/team meeting to know the day’s focus
•Ensures positive customer satisfaction is delivered

Requirements
•Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF level
•Able and flexible to work different shifts
