Relationship Manager (Liability and Forex) – Bank Gaborone

Reporting to the Head: Wholesale banking, the incumbent will be accountable for a defined portfolio of clients, intergating and coordinating all the Bank’s products, services and resources in order to maximise the value of business relationships and ensure profitability for the Bank and the Client in line with the Bank’s Policy.

Minimum Education or Qualifications:

• A commerce degree or equivalent

Key Skills and Experience:

• Five (5) years banking experience, specifically within Corporate Banking/Business Banking environment, with at least three (3) years work experience within the: Liability and Forex environment
• Good knowledge and understanding of the best operating practices specific to business banking.

• Good knowledge and understanding of the banking financial services mechanisms and the entire range of products and services useful to corporate organisations in developing strategically long term business relationships
• Ability to match client and product knowledge to identify cross-selling opportunities and/or pre-empt clients financial and business needs
• Knowledge of relationship management principles and practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent numeric and analytical skills

• Self-confidence and excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Eye for detail
