Introduction

Our client a company based in Gaborone working in the civil engineering sector dealing with Engineers, engineering, construction and vehicle services business activities is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the position of Receptionist.

Specification

➢ Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
➢ Booking for Car Services and renewal for Car Licences
➢ Liaise with Department and provide clerical support (e.g tender preparations).
➢ Answer inquiries regarding services and availability of the personal.
➢ Answer telephone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate person.

➢ Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions notifies company personal of visitor arrival.
➢ Maintains security by following procedures
➢ Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

➢ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
➢ Sort and Distribute incoming Mail

Requirements
➢ Minimum requirement Diploma in secretarial.

➢ 2 years work experience as a receptionist preferable in a road construction company.

➢ Microsoft Office Skills
➢ Multi tasking capabilities (managing confidential and priority documents).
➢ Technical prowess(phone systems, copiers and printers)
