Pre School Teacher (1 position)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for the post of Pre School Teacher.

Main purpose of the fob

The Pre School Teacher provides stimulation, early learning opportunities and fedfitates transition (of) to children with intellectual disabilities to special and primary education.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Assess children’s developmental and educational needs.
2. Develop lesson plans that meet educational requirements in age appropriate manner in consultation with caregivers through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
3. Teach basic skills such as pre-reading, pre-writing, activities for daily living, speech and language development, and social skills

Salary: B4/B3 Scale (35 484.00 – 42 192.00). 2019

Leave: 25 Days.

Qualifications: Certificate in Early Childhood Education.

Age: 24 to 45 Years.

Experience: Two (2) years teaching. Experience in teaching children with intellectual challenges will be an added advantage.
