MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – MULTOTEC

• Responsible for preparing reports, budgets and financial statements
• Undertaking financial administration and internal audits
• Developing and and managing financial systems/policies
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
• Ensure sales and order intake report is compiled timeously
• Evaluate the companies performance using key data
• Completing all tax related material
• Ensure assets are capitalised/disposed and an asset register is maintained
• Ensure projects are managed within defined time, cost and quality framework, as applicable
• Create business strategies to create shareholder value
• Supervise lower-level personnel

Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to assist senior management in making critical business decisions by analyzing and presenting key financial data, overseeing accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, budgets and risk analysis.

• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting, financial principles and practices
• Technical knowledge
• Working knowledge on financial software, experience with Pastel is an added advantage

EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree/National diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications plus a professional qualification such as CIMA,ACCA,CIS or CA
• 5 – 10 Years accounting experience in a commercial and/mining environment
• Good knowledge and experience of a computerized accounting system(Pastel)
• Registration with the Botswana Institute of Accountants(BIA)
• Light vehicle driving license “Class B”
