Butchery/Meat Department Manager

Duties of a meat department manager are to maintain safety and sanitation standards according to the store’s specifications and to stay in compliance with all Health authority regulations in food handling. The Butchery/Meat Department manager will be responsible for monitoring store inventory, keep supplies in stock and ensure that products are fresh at all times.

He/she will ensure correct inventory record is maintained, and to adhere to operation budgets and sales plans for the achievement of store profitability. The butchery/meat department manager will be responsible for employee discipline, training and skill development to maximize productivity.

The manager will be responsible for products merchandising execution as per the store planogram. Meat department manager may need to be available to work weekends or overtime, according to ensure fulfillment customer demands.

Education and Experience required for the position: The candidate should at least have BGCSE or equivalent and should have at least five years’ work experience in the same or related field.
